The North

The Northwest Territories may be known for its cold climates however warmth emerges from a cultural phenomenon we all know as community. The most beautiful aspect of doing missions in the North, and perhaps sometimes the most challenging, is to be received into a tight knit group of people who value your trust and relationship. People of all ages across the Territories are ready to hear the good news of a miraculous God and a redeeming Savior.

Global Youth Missions has been partnering with local NWT ministries for several years.  Plans are underway for a GYM presence in NWT again this year. Opportunites are available to minister through camp, kids, youth, and prison ministry. Right now, GYM is partnering with an Edmonton church group to plan a ministry tour in August 2012.
